The Annual Sydney Fair
After a triumphant first year, The Sydney Fair is back to do it all again.
Covering all areas of 20th Century design from Art Deco to Mid Century, this year the Fair will feature a special Hollywood Couture Exhibition. This will showcase many of the leading US designers of the 40s and 50s, such as Ceil Chapman (who was Marilyn Monroe’s favourite designer). At the end of the Fair many of the exhibition pieces will be available for sale, so a little Hollywood history could be yours.
Antiques-Art-Design will of course be in attendance, with a stunning range of antique jewellery and object d’art. This year, we will also feature specially selected Twentieth Century works from Australian artist Donald Green, heralding his upcoming exhibition of current works in our Paddington three rooms gallery.
Held in The Byron Kennedy Hall at the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park, the event will feature some of the best local and international dealers, with collections of art, jewellery, furniture, porcelain, glass and lighting.
With everything from a 1926 Miss Australia Trophy, to a 1.7metre high Bronze Camel, this is definitely a fair not to miss.
Antiques-Art-Design would like to offer complimentary tickets for anyone who would like to attend this event. Opening night is 6pm to 9pm Thursday 22nd May and the Fair continues each of the following days until close on Sunday. Opening hours: Friday 23rdMay 11am to 7pm, Saturday 24th May 11am to 6pm, and Sunday 25th May 11am to 5pm. Simply stop by our Paddington store to collect your tickets.
