A dark brown flat porcelain disc set in a heavy solid silver mount raised above a medium flat shank - these rare statement pieces were made to celebrate the merger of Anton Michelsen; Jeweller to the Royal Court of Denmark, with Royal Copenhagen as part of the Royal Scandia companies in 1968; the two companies collaborating to produce ranges of jewellery utilising their various specialist skills - marked for Sterling silver and for both Anton Michelsen and Royal Copenhagen and were made through to 1973 - total weight 20.8grms - diameter of face 30mm - current ring size M AU/UK (US 6) - c.1970 Denmark
