Vintage Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Cocktail Shaker - Gundorph Albertus 1930

A vintage solid silver cocktail shaker of a large centrally flared body form with an overall planished finish and small scroll handles to the upper lip that terminate in a bead finial - fitted with a removable lid with a central cactus flower motif topped with a ball and an inner pierced flower lattice design ice grill - marked 925 for Sterling silver along with marks for Georg Jensen of Copenhagen in use between 1925 and 1930 along design number 572 and with the monogram of the designer Gundorph Albertus who created this in 1929 - total weight 707grms - overall dimensions diameter 110mm - height 267mm - c.1930 Denmark
