Georg Jensen Pyramid solid silver and crystal decanter (Hadeland)

A rare example of a Georg Jensen solid silver and crystal decanter with a pyramid design stopper.  The medium height decanter combines a simple facetted crystal body with a central concave section forming a hand grip around the decanter with a silver cased crystal stopper. The pryamid pattern of a combination of three raised tiers surmounted by a ball was designed by Harald Nielsen in 1927. The crystal body made by Hadeland for Georg Jensen.  - overall height 250mm diameter 101mm - c.1960 Denmark and Norway.
