Vintage 18k White Gold Diamond Star Brooch 1960s

An 18k white gold diamond brooch of a starburst design with a central round brilliant cut diamond claw set within a halo of twelve small round brilliant cut diamonds. This is surrounded by radiating arms of alternating designs of a rod with a diamond claw set to the extremity and a pointed elongated diamond shape panel, bead set with four graduated diamonds, and finished with a sliding sheath closure to the hinged pin at the back - marked 750 for 18k gold - diamonds 1=0.67cts G/VS 72=2.45cts G/VS - total weight 19.9grms - overall diameter 39mm - c.1965
