Vintage Italian 18k Gold Honeycomb Link Bracelet 1950s

A striking vintage Retro design bracelet of a honeycomb pattern of hinged interlocking diamond shaped links in 18k gold to form a wide band with three raised diamond shaped motifs to the centre, finished with a box clasp closure and double figure of eight safety catches - this Luxe bracelet in its soft old gold colour (neither pink nor yellow but somewhere in-between) is mesmerising with the dynamic play of light on the scale like links - marked 750 for 18k gold and with a pre 1968 Venetian Atelier mark for Giovanni Zanolo - total weight 53.8gms - wearable length 195mm width 25mm - c.1955
