A vintage solid silver and gilded porcelain ring of an innovative design utilising a cup shape white porcelain form with an interior that has been gilded and which holds in its centre a silver ball - Mounted on a wide flat shank - These pieces using the combination of porcelain and silver were created to celebrate the merger of Royal Copenhagen and Anton Michelsen in 1968 and were manufactured through to 1973 - marked for sterling silver along with marks for Anton Michelsen, Jeweller to the Royal Court of Denmark and a Royal Copenhagen mark - total weight 19.8grms - dimensions of face - diameter 31mm - height above finger 18mm - current ring size O AU/UK (US 7) - c.1970 Denmark
