Vintage Georg Jensen Sterling Grille Ring - design 389 Nanna Ditzel

A vintage solid silver chevron grille ring consisting of a domed chevron shape grille motif set to one side of a double shank - from one of Jensen's most loved designers this piece explores one of Jensen's reoccurring themes in their designs; utilising an offset placement of the top of the ring, which when worn, cleverly accentuates and lengthens the appearance of the fingers - marked 925 for Sterling silver and with post 1945 marks for Georg Jensen of Copenhagen and design number 389 by Nanna Ditzel - total weight 6.1grms - overall dimensions of face 28 x 21mm - current ring size approx O.5 AU/UK (US 7.25) - c.1990 Denmark
