Vintage Continental Silver Enamel Sporting Football Case Box 1920s

A vintage solid silver and enamel football themed cigarette case - a curved rectangular hinged case showing an enamelled sporting scene from a football match over a fine guilloche ground using both opaque and translucent enamels with a push button release that opens to reveal a fully gilded interior - marked 935 for Continental silver (a higher grade than Sterling silver) - total weight 168grms - overall dimensions 105 x 80mm - c.1920 Switzerland
