Stay overnight with Laura Ashley

Following in the footsteps of Missoni and Armani, British high street stalwart Laura Ashley has branched out into the world of hotels.

The Manor Hotel will showcase the retailer’s home collections, and is the brand’s first foray in the world of luxury hotels.

Situated in a Victorian mock Tudor mansion, the country retreat offers 49 individually designed rooms boasting the finest of furnishings, wallpaper and curtains.

There are few signs of the floral prints that Laura Ashley is famous for – a deliberate move to change people’s perceptions of the brand.

Along with the height of elegance in its bedrooms and interior, the hotel also boasts the in-house Cavendish restaurant, offering fine dining, as well as the Terrace Bar, which serves lighter bites with panoramic views.

Located in Elstree, Hertfordshire, the hotel is surrounded by 10 acres of natural woodland with landscaped gardens featuring quintessentially English flora.

Prices start from £150 (roughly AUS$258) for a standard room up to £500 (roughly AUD$862) per night for the most luxurious, premium suite.
