We couldn’t let Milan Fashion Week go by without mentioning the Dolce & Gabbana parade, which transformed the catwalk into a gilded show of mythical prints, romantic appliqués, and bejeweled dresses.

The first parade since the designers were convicted of tax evasion, Dolce & Gabbana lived up to their larger than life reputation. Instead of shying away from their legal predicaments, the designers took the opportunity to turn money troubles into clothes.

Coins appeared as a motif throughout the collection, which had an ancient world theme. There were coins on prints, on bell-sleeved dresses, in a centurion-style shift dress and on sandals, earrings and belts – all set to bring the duo in a bit of coin as they retail their look to women who love their perspective on the ever changing world of fashion.
