Three rooms has recently acquired a small, fine collection of antique Chinese blue and white porcelain and ivory, which is now for sale in our store.
The porcelain is comprised of a variety of pieces of various forms, patterns and sizes, ranging from Ming wares of the 16th and 17th centuries, Kangxi wares of the late 18th century and a variety of fine 19th and early 20th century vases, jars, bowls and dishes.
The ivory includes figurines from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, including a Mandarin courtier, a laughing Buddha, and a European monk.
The collection, showing great connoisseurship, was put together over a 40 year period by one family, living in Asia and Australia; always purchasing from reputable dealers and selecting good examples of shapes, periods and styles.
