A vintage solid silver modernist one piece neck ring with a split circular porcelain pendant suspended on a long rigid wire beneath a front hook closure - these rare statement pieces were made to celebrate the merger of Anton Michelsen; Jeweller to the Royal Court of Denmark, with Royal Copenhagen as part of the Royal Scandia companies in 1968; the two companies collaborating to produce ranges of jewellery utilising their various specialist skills - marked for Sterling silver and both Anton Michelsen; jeweller to the Royal Court of Denmark and Royal Copenhagen they also bear the monogram for the RC designer Jens Windfeld-Hansen - total weight approx 64grms - overall dimensions wearable length 420mm - drop 150mm and diameter of pendant 60mm - c.1970 Denmark
