A vintage pair of large silver white enamel daisy clip earrings with each earring consisting of a large Marguerite daisy motif with white enamel petals with a clip fitting and overall Rhodium finish - marked for Sterling silver and with post 1945 marks for Georg Jensen of Copenhagen - originally designed by A Michelsen; jewellers to the Royal Court of Denmark, to celebrate the birth of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark in 1940, the design was appropriated by Jensen after the merger of the two companies in the 70's - these are the largest size in earrings - total weight of the pair 19.5grms - overall diameter of face 33mm - c.2000 Denmark
